Liars

They always lie.

Every single time.

Every single one.

“I’ll never hurt you.”

Liar.

“I won’t let anything happen.”

Liar.

“I won’t touch you like that again.”

Liar.

“I love you.”

Liar.

“I’ll never ever leave you.”

Liar.

I told them. I told her. No one listens. But I’m always right. Always.

Why do storms always make us cry in the middle of the night? Why do they break her heart all over again?

I should just cut it out.

The blade makes it all better.

Drip drip drip.

It’s always red. It’s always warm. And it always hurts so much less than everything else.

Blood never lies.

Storms are finally gone. I don’t remember this post much, since it was by Victoria, but Friday was a bad night that evolved into a bad weekend.
I thank you for the safe hugs though.

Yes. Friends. Partners. All have said such waffle to me without meaning it. Then they wonder why trust is so hard? Holding thoughts your way…. hope you’re safe xx

They prove their stupidity by making such statements: Everyone in a close relationship is always hurt by the people they are closest to, whether intentionally or not. Making promises that sound good like that end up being utter bullshit and devastate the other person who can only hope that they are telling the truth.

I won’t make a promise that I won’t hurt you because I can’t guarantee that it won’t happen, even as a friend. I can guarantee that if I somehow do hurt you that I will do my best to make it right. I’m sorry that the storms bothered you last night.

      Thank you.

It’s been awhile since storms have bothered us that bad. There’s something about reflecting lately combined with the autumn-eqse weather that’s got us triggering a bit too much lately.
