Just wanted to say thanks to everyone and let you guys know I’m okay now. Migraine is pretty much gone. I am doing a bit better mentally. Still low, but since I’m around people it’s been much better.
I can’t thank you guys enough for your support. Sorry I’ve been lax on your guy’s blogs. It’s partly trigger-related and partly I just haven’t been online. It probably won’t get better until I get back from Chicago.
I’m driving up (with my father) tomorrow, and won’t be back until Monday evening. I’m hoping the trip is as low-stress as possible. Cross your fingers for me.
XOXOXO to all! (or most, at least 😉 )
Hi there! Im new to blogging. How long have you had migranes?
Welcome. I’ve had migraines since I was a freshman in college. They were immediately crippling, even though I’d never had any memorable headaches during my whole childhood/teen years.
Oh a road trip? It is always much better without drama. Good luck!
I would love for it to be drama-free. Thanks for the luck! 🙂
Don’t you worry about us! You get yourself feeling better…pain is not an easy thing to cope with (especially that kind of pain). *hugs you* Glad it’s on the mend.
You’re a doll, as always. I shall do my best. I hope you are well ❤
I intend to take many pics for all my blog-friends to see 🙂
I was going to poke you on le facebook because you were being quiet but then you popped up there AND here – aren’t we blessed 😉 p.s. I’m sorry if my blog is just one big trigger-y ball of chaos right now. xx
Aw, you are always a darling Bourb. It’s nice to feel noticed/missed (is that the right word?).
I see that you’re having a hard time on your blog. I’m not trying to dodge you, I just don’t have anything wise to say and you are correct about some of it being trigger-y. But that doesn’t mean I love you any less. You can always message me (on FB or email) if you need to talk. I’m happy to be here ❤ ❤ ❤
I’m glad to hear you’re feeling a little more comfortable. Weirdly, the headaches I get (which are not migraines, but simply painful tension headaches related to my concussions/whiplash) and the subsequent depressive episode are almost always slightly alleviated by being around people. It seems counter-intuitive, since the last thing we want to do when we’re low is bring other people down with us, but it sounds like it also has a positive effect on you.
Safe travels! xoxo.
Doesn’t it??? I usually want nothing to do with people during that time (which is what makes it semi-impossible to reach out for help) but when I’m forced/coerced or happen to be around others, I seem to just feel more at ease and in less pain. Weird.
Returned safely from Chicago 🙂 Not sure how to go about updating my blog at this point. Lol. So much. So long. Seems an overload.
❤
